How it is made

The workshop

Behind haptic3D are a 3D printer, a soft spot for kinematics and the belief that functional things are allowed to be beautiful.

From the CAD model to the filament change to the built-in bearings — every step happens in one pair of hands, in Berlin.

Materials with responsibility

We print with plant-based PLA — renewable, food-safe and properly disposable at the end of its life. Plus stainless-steel ball bearings and neodymium magnets that last a lifetime.

No single-use plastic. No planned obsolescence. Repair instead of throwing away.
